J.T. Dean
JT Dean serves as president of Versova and Center Fresh Group, leading the company through strategy development, business planning, talent acquisition, and customer and industry relations.
Throughout his career, JT has worked in nearly all areas of the egg processing business, including managing chicken houses, packaging eggs, overseeing construction, operating feed mills and breaking plants, and managing farms. Before joining Center Fresh Group as general manager in 2004, he served as a breaking plant manager at Rembrandt.
JT became chairman of United Egg Producers in 2025 after years of leadership within the organization, including roles as chairman of the animal welfare committee, secretary of the executive committee, and member of the highly pathogenic avian influenza working group. He also serves on the board of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association and is a member of the avian influenza global taskforce for the World Egg Organisation.
JT attended Iowa State University and the University of Iowa, studying computer engineering and business.
