Ross Dean
Ross Dean serves as the senior vice president of sales and marketing at Versova, overseeing customer development, marketing, and branding. He partners with the sales team to pursue partnerships for current and in‑development products.
Before entering the egg industry, Ross worked in heavy equipment sales for Ai-Jon, Inc., serving the scrap recycling sector. He then made a career transition, starting at Hawkeye Pride Egg Farm in 2010 and joined Versova in 2016.
An active industry leader, Ross serves on the American Egg Board’s executive committee and chairs ProEgg. He also holds leadership roles with Colorado Egg Producers and U.S. Egg Marketers and is a member of the Iowa Grocery Industry Association, United Egg Producers, and the World Egg Organisation. Ross is the past chair of the Food Bank of Iowa where he served on the board for several years and helped create the “Cracking Hunger” initiative with the Iowa Egg Council.
Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, with an emphasis in marketing, from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
