Craig Rowles, DVM
Dr. Rowles has been involved in animal agriculture for nearly 30 years. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University and worked as a mixed animal veterinarian for 14 years before taking a position as a manager of an 8,000-sow farrow-to-finish operation for 18 years. His degree gives him a strong background in bird health and animal husbandry, and his previous experience in the swine industry applies to poultry in many ways.
Dr. Rowles has served on the Carroll County Board of Health and the Board of Adjustment. He also has played active roles on many association boards and committees including the National Pork Board, Iowa Pork Board and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He currently serves as president of the Iowa Poultry Association.
