Mark Van Oort
Mark Van Oort is the general manager of Iowa operations at Versova, overseeing daily operations of Centrum Valley Farms, Center Fresh Group, Sioux County Egg, Iowa Cage-Free LLP (Ovation Farms), and Hawkeye Pride Farms. He has been with Versova for 15 years and, during that time, has worked with most of the company’s business units.
As the general manager of Iowa operations, Mark works to ensure that safe, quality eggs are produced, hens receive the proper care, and that Versova employees find it a rewarding place to work. In his time with the company, Mark has helped build one of the premier management teams in the industry. In 2015, he also was integral in helping the business navigate the challenges of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). Before joining Versova, Mark worked as an operations manager for Pro Pork, where he was in charge of daily operations of many finishing sites. He is a graduate of Buena Vista University, where he received his degree in elementary education.
